Spotlight is an exciting careers programme designed against the Gatsby Benchmarks to offer secondary schools a comprehensive careers package across the student body. Spotlight provides schools with critical data on student aspirations, 1:1 mentoring for the students most in need of career guidance and a whole-year group activity around the world of work.

Spotlight Annual Report

Spotlight has empowered almost 5,000 young people. Its comprehensive, whole-school approach has supported our partner schools to build meaningful careers programmes that address the needs of each pupil and meet six of the eight Gatsby Benchmarks of Good Career Guidance.

Our approach

We know that every school is different, from their work experience priorities to the barriers their students face when moving into the world of work or higher education.

By partnering with schools, we’re able to work in collaboration to co-design programmes that are tailored towards your students’ needs, leading to better outcomes for young people. Our mentoring programmes don’t just focus on one route that your students could take after school, but instead aim to build your students’ understanding of all their options.
