The Gatsby Good Careers Guidance Benchmarks have been developed as a framework to ensure young people have access to high quality information, advice and guidance about their future career options. The Department for Education Careers Strategy sets an expectation that all schools will meet them by 2020.

Our mentoring provides an impactful, flexible and cost-effective way for schools to enhance their careers provision and contributes towards achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks, either as a standalone intervention or in support of other activity.
For example:
We match young people with mentors currently studying in higher and further education or working in different careers providing encounters with further and higher education and encounters with employers and employees. Our mentors help young people to understand how what they learn at school is relevant to a range of future careers, thereby linking curriculum learning to careers. The personalised 1:1 support from their mentor, who takes time to understand the young person’s individual strengths and circumstances, and tailors their guidance accordingly helps to address the needs of each pupil.
