Spotlight is an exciting careers programme designed against the Gatsby Benchmarks to offer secondary schools a comprehensive careers package across the student body. Spotlight provides schools with critical data on student aspirations, 1:1 mentoring for the students most in need of career guidance and a whole-year group activity around the world of work.
Our approach
We know that every school is different, from their work experience priorities to the barriers their students face when moving into the world of work or higher education.
By partnering with schools, we’re able to work in collaboration to co-design programmes that are tailored towards your students’ needs, leading to better outcomes for young people. Our mentoring programmes don’t just focus on one route that your students could take after school, but instead aim to build your students’ understanding of all their options.

How it works
Gather critical pupil data and key insights into pupils’ ideas about the future through our whole school survey to identify those most in need of mentoring
Work with us to identify up to 100 pupils to take part in bespoke, 1:1 mentoring across our series of themed mentoring projects
Take part in our whole year group career game activity, supporting younger pupils to gain an insight into different careers and sectors
