We’re incredibly proud of the achievements of the young people we work with, and the dedication of the mentors who support them. We celebrate their success at Brightside’s Mentoring Awards, recognising the hard work of all the mentees, mentors and partner co-ordinators who make sure Brightside’s schemes – just like the young people they help – are the absolute best they can be.
To make the right choices, young people need to think about their education and careers early in their lives. E-Me connects Year 10 pupils in the South West with an online mentor for a six week programme. The project raises awareness of higher and professional careers, as mentors from universities and industry support the young people to think about the paths they want to take in the future, and the best post-16 and post-18 qualifications to choose to get them there.
